March 2009 saw the completion of a major new development at the Churchill Hospital consisting of:

• an integrated Cancer and Haematology Centre
• a Surgery and Diagnostics Centre
• the Wytham Wing – housing the Wytham Ward (transplant) and private outpatients.

The development brought together a wide range of medical and surgical services including:

• cancer medicine (clinical and medical oncology, clinical haematology and radiotherapy)
• surgery (gastrointestinal, breast, and gynaecological cancer and non-cancer surgery)
• diagnostic services (laboratories, radiology and breast screening)
• a base for University research teams, working in partnership with NHS colleagues.

M&M Medical worked in conjunction with Haden Young now Balfour Beatty as part of the Churchill Hospital Consortium.
